Akash Rajan

Dr. Rajan has genuine concern for his patients. I have been going to him for a number of years now, and have benefited greatly from his care. His hands are packed with a lot of strength and power! I am not the easiest person to adjust, but he has pretty much been able to manipulate me effectively, especially after he provides me with his wonderful pre-adjustment massage!

He is exceptionally talented in his profession, and happens to be a very nice person as well!

I have been seeing Dr. Akash for about 6 months to treat my 2-year old lower back injury and neck pain caused by improper posture. I have tried a lot of other treatments before I decided to see a chiropractor, like physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture and a few kinds of pain relieving patches. They all didn't do as good as chiropractic does.
Dr. Akash is a really nice guy. He remembers all my problems and he is always very patient with me to make me feel relaxing. He replies my emails very quickly and will also do follow ups after treatments. He also helped me to maximize the health insurance's benefits, like the reimbursement on my great new pillow. He gave me some exercise I can do to strengthen my muscle back home or during work which helped a lot as well.
I truly recommend you go see him and experience his professional treatment!!

I was a bit skeptical about seeing a Chiropractor when my back went out and I could barely walk. My previous experience with a chiropractor was a forced X-Ray and 3 minutes of treatment. I had left with a lighter wallet, a 1 year plan that would cost $$$$, and in the same pain.

Dr. Arash was the exact opposite. He really listened to my concerns, respected my research, and spent a considerable amount of time explaining the cause of my pain before treating me. He is professional and sincere and is passionate about his craft. He never made me seem like he was trying to lock me into a long term contract, rather focused on getting me healthy

Dr. Akash Rajan has been my chiropractor for a few years now and I continue to see him since I have mild scoliosis and love the adjustments. He's also the very first chiropractor to tell me that I don't need to see him as often so long as I do all the recommended exercises and stretches!! Generally, chiropractors want to keep you coming back, but not him! His whole philosophy is to help treat you, get to the root of the problem, and get you back to being self reliant with continued physical maintenance. In my situation, I only continue to see him since I'm a working mother of 2 young kids, and haven't really carved out any time to exercise since I had them.

So here are the reasons why he's good:
1) he listens
2) he pays attention to your aches and pains, even after your 100th visit (unlike other chiros where you see them for 5 mins for an adjustment and you're out the door)
3) I used him while I was pregnant and afterwards
4) he used to be a personal trainer (so he understands sports injuries/aches)
5) he massages you with cooling/heating gel before giving you various adjustments
6) he treats you like a person and creates the relationships
7) he cares!
8) he tries to ween you off from being dependent on chiropractic adjustments (depending on your physical case - generally people are hesitant to ever see a chiropractor - believe me, I was a skeptic at first, tried out 4 before Dr. Rajan - and they were all great in the beginning, then treated me like a number after a few months, and only saw them for 5 mins or less for the adjustment)
9) he's knowledgeable
10) he makes you feel comfortable and relaxed
11) he's just a cool guy!

In any case, I highly recommend him!

I don't know why I have not written A review sooner about Dr. Akash. First of all he is very professional and very very knowledgeable about what he does. I went to see him first when I was experiencing a lot of sciatic back pain when I was pregnant. Then my OB/GYN let me know that my six-month-old baby I was pregnant with was in a breach position. I did some research and found out that could be helped by seeing a chiropractor. I let Dr. Akash know and he got me in and performed a couple of different techniques and low and behold the baby flipped the correct side down.I am always freaked out when a chiropractor wants to crack your neck because I feel like they are going to decapitate me but Dr. Akash was so comforting and promised me not to snap my head off and told me to relax and I did and it has been wonderful ever since. He is now treating me for a pinched nerve down my neck and has been very gentle and very helpful. He is honestly the best and most helpful chiropractor I have seen. Oh and he's a funny guy too so that is an added bonus!

  • "It's been 7 months since I got wiped out by a monster wave. I sought treatment at the hospital and they took x-rays and said everything seemed normal, that I would just have some pain for a few days. A few days actually turned into several weeks, so at the suggestion of my girlfriend, I went to see Rajan and was feeling better in no time!"
